Made My Blog Page My Home Page
I’ve made my first major change to my website in a while. I’ve made my blog page my home page and turned my homepage into an about page. Doubt that it makes much of a difference to most, but the URL FreeOldTestamentAudio.com now redirects to my blog’s URL – FreeOldTestamentAudio.com/Blog.New. I’ll see how that works…

Hosea 14:10 – Interesting Imagery
Hosea 14:10 has some interesting imagery. It was a part of the lectionary reading for today. And, I used this as an opportunity to experiment with putting more video on the site. Sorry for the blur, YouTube said it might improve Translation Posts

“Cool Old Testament Website” – yep, that’s a search string that somebody used to find my site today. Would you believe that? Google is even giving me props today. And, you know Google never lies.

Poor Old Nabonidus
It is a little sad when you read about someone in history who was such a poor ruler that people welcomed his demise. A Prophetic Word from My Mind's Eye
Being a bit jealous of Scott Bailey’s heavy prophetic mantle I have decided to try on one of my own. So, here goes with my prophecy: If Scott keeps up this Christianity’s March Madness Insanity thing, we will all see a rankings juggernaut this month. You really have to go over check it out if…

Joseph's Coat of Many Colors?
We’ve all heard about Jospeh’s coat of many colors, right? Well, it looks like you may need to throw that fond childhood memory out. Today’s lectionary reading is from Genesis 37. Here are a few translations in comparison with regard to “Joseph’s coat of many colors” (translation comparisons on this site are done in BibleWorks…

Video of Me Reading
Okay so a friend asked myself and other youth folks in my area to make (semi-funny) videos for an upcoming conference of what we like to do in our spare time (other than blogging I guess). Here’s mine (you have to be watching with annotations on to get the full effect): Okay maybe that’s not…
