Advice on Webinars?
Has anyone in the realm of BiblioBlogdom or beyond ever done a webinar type format? I’ve never done it before, but may be trying it out soon. I was thinking about using something like U-stream, but also providing my Twitter, text message, or e-mail info, so that participants can interact during a talk I am…

The Old Testament and New Testament Separate?
The Old Testament and New Testament are separate in the New Revised Standard Versions currently being produced for the Kindle. Not sure what the publishers were thinking or if they have ever handled a Kindle for that matter, but this is very annoying. Essentially, there are two separate books with two separate tables of contents. …

Chris Brady with a Nice Set up
Alright. So, I know Chris Brady has said he’s going to get an iPad (though he’s not uncritical). Thus, when I read the following title… The iPad is going to fail … I was intrigued. Has he had an about-face? Click on over and see 😉

Kindle Publishing for Blogs – Has Anyone Tried This?
I was looking at books for my Kindle today and saw the link for Kindle Publishing for Blogs. I personally could not think of ANY reason why I would want to read a blog on my Kindle or publish my blog for the Kindle. Of course, I can always read on my iPhone, so maybe…

Kudos to Apple Customer Service

Giving the Bible Commentwary Another Shot
A good while back, when I first started using Twitter, I had the idea to start a Bible Commentwary. The basic gist of the idea was that I would choose a verse or passage for a given day (probably not daily as I at first thought) and people would need to comment in 140 characters…

Cool iPhone App for Catholics
Some of you heretic Protestants like Joel might like it too … just kidding 😉 . Today I downloaded iMissal. It’s a pretty cool app that is a Missal, complete with daily mass readings and mass parts, a devotional (Our Daily Bread), and a collection of prayers. For audiophiles like myself, the lectionary readings can…

3 Kindle Shortcuts
I’ve been doing a good bit of my Biblical Studies reading on my Kindle. And, the main problem I was having at first was that it was cumbersome to add notes and mark places in the text. Also, going into menus to start text-to-speech was a bit annoying as well. But, here are three shortcuts…

Coolest Coffee Cup Lid Ever
I’m probably just way out of touch and don’t get out much. That’s probably why I haven’t seen this, but this is awesome. I hate those coffee cup lids that are like tabs or plugs. I always end up spilling coffee and/or burning myself.
